I am a rainbow Sherbet man. I think I got hooked on this when I was a kid and my mom use to do my birthday parties with the punch being made of Sherbet and the 7up fizzing...mmm good stuff. Now since I moved to Texas, Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla and Pralines and Cream have found their place in my refrigerator..I can eat a pint by myself. I dont like the fuzz that forms on top if you open and then put it back in the freezer...ewww. Oh and anything by Dairy Queen and Ba skin Robbins is my friend including their ice cream cakes.
I lost my best friend in the world and the person that loved me the most in this world to a monster called Lung Cancer on this horrible night, I hate this date. Mom!! I know you are in heaven now and there is not 1 single day that you are not in my thoughts and 3 years later the memory of you, your smile, your laugh, your life your touch is the most precious possession I still hold in my heart.
Mom as I told you then when I watched you go...."SLEEP WITH THE ANGELS!!"
Keep Shining
Your Son

Telectroscope to London Unveiled at Brooklyn Bridge
The festivities commemorating the 125th birthday of the Brooklyn Bridge got underway full swing today with the unveiling of the mysterious Telectroscope at the Fulton Ferry Landing, just south of the bridge at 1 Water Street . The installation's creator, Paul St George, claims to have just completed a forgotten tunnel connecting New York to London and, using giant parabolic mirrors, has reconstructed a Victorian-era optical device enabling people on either end of the tube to wave at each other.
Presented by the Artichoke art collective, who built the massive ambulatory “Sultan’s Elephant” in London two years ago, the Telectroscope will be open for gawkers 24/7 until June 15th. Attendants on hand supply visitors with dry-erase boards to write messages for the Londoners on the other side, at Tower Bridge . It's just frustrating that with the dollar so low, they can't toss a few pounds though the tunnel.
"Delegate #47....what say you", I cant wait, I"m thrilled to be moving forward to The Democratic National Convention in Denver Colorado in August. This is so a once in MY lifetime experience and has made me move from my "independent" status head strong in to the world of Democratic politics. If it is anything like our state convention was ...OH MY GAWD!!!! I will get to see Barack and Hillary in the flesh ...hmmm what to wear? My family lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado for a good part my sister and I lives, my father was stationed there at Fort Carson and years later so was my sister and my mother was federal service at The United States Air Force Academy and NORAD so its like our home kinda in a way although we have no ties there any longer. Perhaps I will have the opportunity to drive down and see the place and do Eliche's Amusement Park....I'M DENVER BOUND BABIES!!!!! Eat my snow!!!! oh its not snowing there that time of year...lol.
If you aren't in Austin, you can watch the speeches on our YouTube channel.
Friday featured Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, Chelsea Clinton, Lt. Col.
& Democratic Senate nominee Rick Noriega and Senator and Convention
Chair Kirk Watson.
Hi Gang,
As most of you remember or can read below, back in March I was selected by constituents, to move forward from the precinct level to the district convention which happened in March and went on for hours and then finally selected to move forward to the Texas State Convention, thats happening here in Austin this weekend. All I can say is WOW x 10, what a fired up and excited group of people. I have always been an "Independent" of sorts, but now more than ever I lean hard to the Democratic Party, these people are amazing, and for this weekend to happen on the heels of such a historic speech by Senator Clinton, strongly backing and supporting Senator Obama, while only "suspending" her campaign was well received by all, it was a great speech. In all honesty, she fought hard and well and I admire her tenacity, integrity and I really cant blame her for not giving up her delegates at this point, I probably would do the same thing...leverage is a good way to get what you want sometimes, or at least a part thereof. I truly would have supported her just as well as I do him.
I hope this country propels them both forward as I think they will and truly, prove to the world that the United States of America can get past its racial problems and move him into the position of President. In my core I truly believe that John McCain will not lead Republicans or Democrats to anything positive. In fact all the talk about people leaving the Democratic Party because Senator Clinton did not receive the nomination, I wonder how many have thought of how many Republicans will leave their party because McCain is the nominee...hmmm point to ponder. I am elated that I have been nominated as a possible delegate to the National Convention in Denver in August by my congressional district...please please please please, I want to go!!!!
Anyway having a great time listening to the speeches and everything and Chelsea is here! she looks great and as any child would she supports her mom to the end. Speaking of which, on the way down from Dallas, their was a lady from another precinct on our plane, that came up to me, she said, "Young Man, (me young...lol, I guess to her I am) are you Mrs W. son" ? I said, why yes I am, She said I know your mother, how is she doing, she is such a sweet and kind person" she said I know her, because we share the same last name and we talked about how we became W's by marriage" I said really? and laughed, then I told her..."Well yes ma'am, she passed almost 3 years ago now (the anniversary of that date is etched in my brain, of losing my best friend in this world, its forthcoming next month). She says, "I am so so sorry, she was such a very sweet person and she loved you , your sister and her grand daughter greatly and talked about you all the time. " As we were exiting the plane, she said, well enjoy yourself here in Austin, since I may not see you again". I told her I would and I hope that I would see her again. It suddenly hit me, and the tears began to form in my eyes and I thought, what a wonderful person and spirit my mother most to have inparted on people to be remembered in such a manner, the effect she had on people is one that I hope that when my day comes that I am fortunate to have. My mom was an AWESOME WOMAN and I miss her everyday!
Well, off to the shower and out for a drink with the other delegates in a bit, we have to politic like candidates to get to the next level so that every one knows you, likes you, and wants to vote for you to move forward. ok in this case I will kiss ass, lol. More later ;)
Who thought this would happen in my lifetime!!!
Obama Becomes First Black Democratic Presidential Nominee
The Third African American Senator Since Reconstruction Makes History
After a bruising battle, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., has won enough delegates to clinch the Democratic Party's presidential nomination, ABC News projects based on exit polls and reporting.
Obama, D-Ill., becomes the first African-American major party presidential candidate in the nation's history.
But the candidate emerges battered after a bitter, five-month fight against Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., who was vying to become the party's first female presidential nominee and was once considered the likely nominee.
Delivering soaring speeches tied to a popular message of hope and change, Obama's insurgent candidacy inspired record-breaking campaign contributions, record turnout by black voters, and wide support from independents, liberals, young voters, and high-income, better-educated Democrats.
Although he won the majority of primary contests -- 33 to Clinton's 20, not including Michigan and Florida -- the Illinois senator struggled to win the support of white, blue-collar voters, older voters and Hispanic voters.
The issue of race cropped up again and again for the man seeking to become the nation's first black president.
When tapes of Obama's longtime pastor excoriating America surfaced, the Illinois senator distanced himself from his pastor, and ultimately from his Chicago church, delivering a widely applauded speech on race and religion.
If Obama is elected president, he will be, at 47, among the youngest presidents in U.S. history. His Republican opponent, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., would be the oldest presidential candidate to win a first term in office at age 72.
Obama's Rise
No stranger to record books, Obama, became the fifth African-American senator in U.S. history and was the first black president of the Harvard Law Review.
Born to a white, American mother and a black, Kenyan father, Obama has spoken openly of his struggle to find acceptance in the black community.
First living in Hawaii, Obama's family moved to Jakarta, Indonesia, when he was 6, where he lived for a time with his mother and Indonesian stepfather. He has credited his upbringing for making him sensitive to America's flagging image abroad.
Attending Columbia University and Harvard Law School, Obama worked as a community organizer, a constitutional law professor, and a lawyer in Chicago before becoming a senator in the Illinois state Senate in 1996.

I am elated that now I will get to watch Wendy Williams live! I was turned on to her by some colleagues last year and listen to her faithfully every day through the internet 107.5 WBLS is the radio station out of New York City, she is not syndicated here in Dallas so thats the only way we can here. She and her sidekick Charlamagne, make you laugh throughout the show, her show is gossip thing and they usually say things that most people think. I have been lucky to been a call-in twice. Welcome to Dallas Wendy!
Wendy Williams, whose bold personality and unvarnished opinions have made her an institution on radio, will launch her long-awaited television talk show July 14 on Fox. .
The hour-long daily show is scheduled for a six-week run and will feature Williams interviewing prominent guests.
Airing in the daytime in a yet-unspecified time slot, it is being coproduced by Debmar-Mercury and Fox television stations.
Initially it will be seen in four cities: New York (Ch. 5), Los Angeles, Dallas and Detroit.
Williams will continue her radio show, which is nationally syndicated 2-6 p.m. daily from WBLS (107.5 FM). She does a "bonus hour," 6-7, for New York.
Williams said late last year that even though she was developing the TV show, "Radio is still my first love. It's my base. I won't give it up."
She recently signed a new contract with WBLS.
While Williams is largely known for her opinions, her lifestyle advice and her gossip, she also has done a number of memorable interviews — including one with Whitney Houston that shifted back and forth between comfortable and confrontational.
So it wouldn't be surprising if some of her interviews get loud and colorful. Nor would Fox be likely to mind if they do.
Ok! Many of you know that my sister is going through this awful ordeal! I mentioned this to my physician weeks ago and she referred me to an Endocrinologist, "just to be safe". Well I went yesterday and met Dr H. she began feeling me up after are conversation, now its very weird to be felt up by a woman, I wanted to touch her back , but I restrained, probably because what would I be feeling, I had more breast than she did...lol. Anyway, after she felt me up and went and conferred with a colleague she came ( insert weird experience here that just happened....a beautiful bird landed on my second floor window, right by my computer and pecked at my screen out of the blue as if to say hello, stuck around a few min and just flew away....ok weird...spirit? I believe) so she comes back in and tell me I have to have a MAMMOGRAM...I'm like WTF, why, she said, just as a precaution...uh huh, but I said ok, so she went on to schedule, we'll see.
Male mammograms can be used to diagnose cancer, gynecomastia, and other breast problems. Not gynecomastia patients need such X-rays. Dr. Bermant prefers to examine each individual before deciding if mammograms are indicated. Typical reasons that may raise concerns include:
- Firm breast lump
- Enlarging mass
- Nipple discharge
- Nipple changes
- Klinefelter's Syndrome patients and others who may be at higher risk for breast cancer
- Males on long term estrogen therapy
Thicker tissue on a mammogram is more white. In gynecomastia, there is a fan shaped density under the nipple that gradually blends into the surrounding fat. Learn more about Gynecomastia Tests and Diagnosis.

Mammograms in men
can be helpful when there is a clinical suspicion of cancer. There is a
specific look to male breast cancer that can be seen on male mammography. We prefer to use a special mammography service with radiologists experienced with male chest studies
